Walking in Integrity

Integrity is adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty.

It comes from the word integrate.  (to bring together as a whole)

1. Integrity is deciding to integrate my hearts values into my daily actions.

In order to have integrity one must have values. And our values come from Gods Word, not the worlds view.

We, as the body of Christ, must raise our standards above what the world is setting.

2. Integrity is doing the right thing even when no one is looking.

But the scripture tells us that whatever we do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus. Col 3:17
* Do you take supplies home from work?
* Do you put groceries you dont want back where they belong? 
* Do you put the shopping cart back where they belong?

Most of the issues of integrity you will face in life will be small.

But when you walk in integrity in the small things of life it will strengthen you to walk in integrity in the big issues of life.

3. Integrity is fulfilling your word.

Say what you mean and mean what you say.

How do you feel about a person who promises to do something but never follows through?
* Unreliable, Not trustworthy, Shallow in their integrity.

Integrity simply means You can count on me, I’ll keep my word, I’ll be true.

INTEGRITY is not performing impossible task of heroism or living a life of perfection.  It is doing simple RIGHT action that shows Gods character.

Our hearts desire should be that we live a life that not only pleases God, but is a witness to unbelievers as well.

Pray every day that God will empower you by the Holy Spirit to walk in a way that pleases him. Pray that He will convict you in areas of your life where you are lacking integrity and ask him to teach you to become the man or woman of God who walks in integrity
