Tapestry of Life

Naomis strand of life alone are very ordinary, but when put together they show Gods Beautiful Tapestry.

Wife (Ruth 1:1-2 )
* Because Naomi was a wife she became a mother.

Mother (Ruth 1: 2-3)
* Naomis husband dies, leaving her to raise her sons alone
* Mothers shape their children

Mother-in-law (Ruth 1:4)
* Apparently Naomi was not the terrible Mother-in-law type.
* After ten years her sons died.
* Both Ruth and Orpah wanted to stay with Naomi

Christian Woman (Ruth 1:6-7)
* God was calling her back home to complete the tapestry.
* Ruth says to Naomi, “Your God will be my God.”

Mentor (Ruth 3: 1-5)
* Naomi was looking out for Ruths best interest.

As she looked at her life she probably saw a life of disarray.
* Wondering what she could have done better
* Wondering if only she had

In the book of Ruth many focus on Ruth, but it was Naomis thread of life that brought it all together.

Let me ask you, How do you see your life?
* Just a wife, Just a mother, Just a woman

Women are a very strong thread used of God to weave his purpose into this world.

When we see our lives from Gods perspective we can see a beautiful Tapestry rather than a messy Life.
